When the welding workpiece materials are different, it has to readjust the parameters of the controller and the upsetting force. For example, the steel wire is replaced with an iron wire or copper wire, aluminum wire, etc. with different carbon content. Due to the electrical conductivity of the material, it also conducts heat.
The CNC metal wire butt welding machine is a product produced by Xinxing WeldingResistance butt welding machine, specially used for docking various metal wires. When the welding workpiece materials are different, it needs to readjust the parameters of the controller and the upsetting force. For example, the steel wire is replaced with iron wire or copper wire, aluminum wire, etc. with different carbon content. Due to the poor electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of the material, the differences in various parameters are also large.
Specific adjustments will be made from three aspects:
1. Adjust the slow rise time to suppress spark splashing
What is the slow-up time, that is, the time for the current to rise from 0 to the welding current at a constant speed? The adjustment range is: 0-99, in "cycles" (1 cycle = 0.02 seconds). Iron wire and steel wire take less time, about 5 cycles and 0.1 seconds, and non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminum, titanium and tungsten wire are slightly longer than 10 cycles.
2. Adjust the welding current:
The setting value is output as a percentage of the total power of the welding machine. The adjustment range is: 0-99. When it is set to 0, the minimum output is about 30% of the total power; when it is set to 99, it is the maximum power output. Generally, it can be set to 50-80 according to the diameter of the welding workpiece. If it is the maximum diameter of the welding range, set it to 99.
3. Welding time:
That is, the duration of the welding current on the workpiece, the adjustment range is 0-99, unit: cycle (1 cycle = 0.02 seconds); when set to 0, there is no welding current; when set to 99, continuous welding.
